From the Main Menu, select the mod tab.
Search for Summer Bash in the ARK Mod list and Install it. Mod ID: 927091
After it’s installed, go back to your game setup screen and select ‘Mod Settings’
You will see Summer Bash and any other mods you’ve downloaded in ‘Available Mods’
Select Summer Bash and activate it.
If you would like to enable Summer Bash on your private servers, please add the mod ID to your server command-line launch arguments (-mods=modID). No other changes should be necessary to activate the event. Mod ID: 927091
We’re planning to roll out a Quality of Life and balance patch next week with the Summer Bash. It’s packed with a wide range of improvements aimed at smoothing out day-to-day gameplay and introduces some fresh changes to the meta along the way.
On the QoL front, we’ll be making good on some long-standing community requests. You’ll be able to enable “autorun” from the action wheel, and holding H while wearing armor will show the durability of each equipped piece. For our farmers, Ankylosaurus, Doedicurus, and Dunkleosaurus will let you choose a specific resource type to harvest (so if you’re just after metal, for example, you won’t have to constantly drop stone). Plus, Anky and Doedic will keep on auto-harvesting past the current 50% max weight even when held by a flyer to make life easier for our solo farmers.
On the balance side, some updates are on the way that should help smooth out certain areas while reintroducing a bit of variety. To touch on a few examples: Mek blueprints will be tinkerable again, with themselves only, bringing back some flexibility without opening the floodgates. We’ve made adjustments to Tesla Turret stun, reduced poison damage, and tuned down the HP on the Dreadnoughtus. You’ll also see a slight speed increase for Quetzals and health buffs for Spinosaurus, Mammoth and Brontos, among other tweaks.
And, finally, because it’s too hot to keep to ourselves, the Phoenix will soon be breedable! It’s been a long-requested addition, and we’re excited to see what kind of fire-fueled bloodlines you start hatching!
